ABOUT ME

About Jacqueline McKenna-Tryon

I love the color pink, hanging with my goats, sushi and bunnies. I still haven't succeeded in dropping out of high school so I guess I am graduating now. My birthday is June 24th and I am 17. I want to own a minivan and have a pet snake. I am also still unfortunately dating my boyfriend.

PROJECTS BY JACQUELINE

This is some of my work I made in Mrs. Covert-Ross' graphic design class!

COMIC BOOK CHARACTER: TOXIN

This is a comic book version of myself. My character has the ability to produce toxic smoke from herself after being caught up in Chernobyl. I made a brush that has a smoke effect and I also used the quickmask tool to cut myself out of a background as well as the two radioactive waste bins.

TWIN PROJECT: JESSICA

I created a twin using features from three other people in the class. I changed my neck using the clone stamp tool, I changed my eyes using the quickmask tool and I changed my hair using the quickmask tool.

POSTCARD:ITALY

I made a postcard about Italy with the slogan "Come get a taste of Italy's culture!" because I quickmasked canolis onto the Colosseum to make a canolisseum, changed the Leaning Tower Of Piza yellow using hue and saturation and quickmasked pizza toppings on to make the Leaning Tower of Pizza and used free transform to make the spaghetti river the boat is on.

CREATURE: BUNNYFLY

I created a bunnyfly using quickmask for the bunny, lasso for the wings, dropshadow for the shadow, and clone tool for the bettafish pattern on the wings.

WHAT'S ON MY MIND: EXPENSIVE THINGS

Money and jewelry were on my mind as well as cars and purses. I used the quickmask tool to cut everything else and the freetranform tool to make it look like the objects were coming out of my head. The snake is there because it is what created a split in my head as well as representing the toxic need for a lavish lifestyle I also included a worm to show how I am spoiled rotten. I also used the pen tool to create the splits and cracks in my face and neck.

WHAT'S ON MY MIND: REDO

I did not like my original piece because it was rushed and overcrowded and over did not reflect me how I was. This new one does and I like it a lot better. I used the same tools as the first one but just in a different way to portray my work better.
